Auctions, Auctions, Auctions!


Commercial Heifer – Saturday, Sept 27, 2008.Reception 1:30pm Sale 2:30pm
This sale spot lights our young and upcoming commercial beef producers of Fort Bend County. These quality commercial heifers are raised by the youth and sold at the County Fair to local buyers, i.e., Ranchers, Family Members, etc.

Art – Sunday, Sept 28, 2008. Reception 3:00pm Sale – 4:00pm
This program is designed to reward the efforts and showcase the Artwork of Fort Bend County’s students Grade 6 through 12.

Junior Livestock – Thursday, Oct 2, 2008. Reception 5:30pm Sale 7:00pm
Exhibitors are members of a Texas 4-H Club or FFA Chapter, and who have continuously owned, personally fed and cared for their animals under the direct supervision of a county extension agent or agricultural science teacher. This auction has approximately 188 designed lots. This includes steer, lambs, barrows or open gilts, pens of broilers, turkeys, pens of roasters, pens of fryer rabbits and goats.

Freezer Sale – Saturday, Oct 4, 2008. Reception Noon Sale – 12:30pm
This opportunity allows Exhibitors, who’s animal did not qualify for the Junior Livestock Auction, a chance to re-coop some of their lost.

Everyone is invited to attend the Auctions.
