Grapes on the
Brazos - Wine Committee
We are offering three levels of wine for your
tasting pleasure, value wines, premium wines, and new this
year two super premium wines. One super premium is a special
choice made by our Fair President, the other super premium
wine is the special choice of the Wine Committee Chairman.
The value wines will be priced at $2.00 for a 2oz taste,
$4.00 for a 5oz glass, or $20.00 for a bottle. The premium
wines will be priced at $3.00 for a 2oz taste, $6.00 for a
5oz glass, or $25.00 for a bottle. The super premium wines
will be priced at $5.00 for a 2 oz taste, $10.00 for a 5oz
glass, or $45.00 for a bottle.

Grapes on the
Brazos: A High-Style Wine Event Served With Texas
Hospitality! Within the Fort Bend County Fair there is an
exciting new event where you can explore a variety of wines
in an attractive, friendly, and affordable venue. Its a
place where guests can enjoy learning about and tasting
wines especially selected to enlighten the palates of both
new and experienced wine-drinkers, while also contributing
to scholarships and other educational opportunities for the
Youth of Fort Bend County. Come join us and lets have some
fun!

Fair, also known as Grapes on the Brazos. The Fair begins
Friday, September 25th, and runs through Saturday, October
3rd. Grapes on the
Brazos
will be open every day of the Fair this year.
We are
still in the process of choosing our wines, and we will
reach the final
decision
soon. There will be many new and exciting choices from
around the world, California--and yes, from Texas. The wines
will be available by the taste, glass, or bottle.
Grapes on the Brazos will also have a new venue, with many
new and exciting features, including gift items, wine
infused jellies, appetizers from various local vendors, and
souvenir glasses.
We will also have presale discount tickets books. There will
be 25, $1.00 tickets at a presale price of $20.00. The
tickets may be used to purchase any items at the Grapes on
the Brazos venue.
Watch the Fort Bend County Fair website, www.fbcfa.org for
updates such as what wines will be featured, the date that
the discount books will be available and where they can be
purchased, the pricing structure for the wines, the hours
that Grapes on the Brazos will be open, and the exact
location of our venue this year.
Please visit us this year. You will meet some of the
friendliest people in Fort Bend County-- the members of
Grapes on the Brazos! So prepare yourself for a fun time at
our venue, visit the rest of the Fair, and come back to
Grapes on the Brazos for some more samplings of the grapes!
