2011 Fort Bend County Fair Queen
Name:
Caitlin Herrera
Parents: Denise & Danny Herrera
School and grade in school: Freshman at WCJC
Activities: While in High School I was involved in many
extracurricular activities and organizations. Since graduating I
have been spending my time being a nanny and enjoying the
opportunity to tutor and mentor two young girls this summer where I
hopefully have had the chance to make a difference in someone’s
life.
Hobbies: I enjoy camping, wakeboarding, shopping and spending
time with friends and family.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
An accomplishment that I am most proud of is being a 2011 graduate
of Foster High School where I have received a solid foundation to
move forward in the next chapter of my life.
Are you planning on going to college and where?
I will be attending WCJC in the fall where I will obtain my
basics with plans to transfer to the University of San Antonio where
I will major in Mass Communications to become a News Anchor
Name one person who has made an impact on your life and why.
One person that has made an impact on my life is my mom. She is
a very strong and dedicated woman. She has taught me to have self
confidence, stay strong and always believe in yourself. She has
always said with a goal comes achievement and with achievement comes
success and with self confidence you can conquer all. My mom is my
number 1 fan and my biggest supporter. She has always been by my
side in everything I have done and has never missed a thing. I love
her so much and I wouldn’t trade her for the world. My mom is the
best mentor and my best friend!
Name something unique about yourself.
I am quite a perfectionist which I have to say can be good and
bad. Good in the fact that you always want everything to be perfect
but bad in the fact that the littlest things will bother you to no
end if they are not just right.
